Willie Ruth Ames Malone passed away July 1, 2011, at the age of 78, in Fort Worth with hospice.. She was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Weatherford, to Amos Charlie Ames and Artie Jewell Langley Ames.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Malone; her parents; brother, Wilson Ames and sister, Jeannette Newberry.. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Malone Brown of Hurst; sons, Gary Duane Malone and wife, Christy, of Michigan, and John Mitchell Malone of Hurst; seven grandchildren, Michael, Spencer, Jay, Sara, Stephanie, Misty and Christa; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Ames, Nelda Corder of Weatherford; brothers, Edward Ames and wife, Rachel, Roger Ames, Jerry Ames and wife, Mary, of Weatherford, and Leo Ames of Kansas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
