Weatherford, Texas - William Lee Scharlz, known as Bill to everyone was 72 when he went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 19, 2021. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Stella Scharlz and his son Jamie Badger. Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nelda; son, Jeff Scharlz and wife Carrie; granddaughter, Emily; close cousins, Allen Hooks and wife Margie and Daryl Newman. Bill also had numerous close friends that he considered as family.

Visitation: 6-8 pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral service: 1 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Galbreaith Pickard with a committal service to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
