William Albert

William Albert ÒBillÓ DeLaughter, 86, of Graford, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007, at his home.
Funeral service is 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with interment in the Woodland Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick, Jeff, Brad, Scott, Danny and Phillip DeLaughter; honorary pallbearers are William, Christian and Taylor DeLaughter, Darrell Stewart and Michael Grawe.
Mr. DeLaughter was born March 19, 1920, in Hooks, Texas, the son of William Walter and Hazel Sager DeLaughter, and moved to Palo Pinto County in 1973. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the North Oak Church of Christ. He married Frances Darlene Brunson, who preceded him in death in December 2001.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Eric V. and Pat DeLaughter of Austin, Richard A. DeLaughter of Graford and Donald W. and Harriet DeLaughter of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Stacy Stewart, Susan Grawe, Scott DeLaughter, Taylor DeLaughter, Alan DeLaughter, Chris Craven, Rick DeLaughter, Jeff DeLaughter, Brad DeLaughter, William DeLaughter Danny DeLaughter and Phillip DeLaughter; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Alan ÒCharlieÓ DeLaughter and John DeLaughter; sister, Claudia Peele; numerous nieces and nephews.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
