Wanda Allen Obituary
Wanda Wright Allen, 87, of Arlington, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Wanda was born June 11, 1929 in Sterling City, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen, of Arlington; her daughter, Linda Crowder, of Arlington; two stepchildren, Wes Wright, of Arlington, and Jack Allen, of Marble Falls; and grandson, Ryan Patton of Corinth.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Wright; stepson, Benny Wright; and five brothers.
She retired as the Children's Librarian at Weatherford Public Library in Weatherford in 1994. She loved books and sharing her love for books with children. Most of all, she loved her family. Her smile was huge and her blue eyes sparkled. She was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Donations may be made to the Weatherford Public Library in her memory, in lieu of flowers.
