Vicente G. Amaro, 85, of Whitney, died May 31, 2013.. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Interment will be at Spring Creek Cemetery. Rosary is 7 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements. He has left to see his Lord.. Mr. Amaro was born July 19, 1927, in Donna.. Mr. Amaro is survived by his wife, Rita Amaro, of Weatherford; daughters, Cris Galindo and husband, Mike, of Whitney, Norma Harper and husband, Tim, of Weatherford, and Rita Lopez, of Weatherford; sons, David Amaro and wife, Caroline, of Hamilton, Joe Amaro. of Weatherford, and Paul Amaro. of Palestine, Texas; two brothers, Chon Garcia and Juan Garcia; six sisters, Alisia Villerreal, Olivia Galavez, Olga Garcia and Maria Amaro; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren..
