Vada Delores Alland

Vada Delores Shrum-Van Hook - Walker - Harris - Alland, 70, of Weatherford, passed away in her home in Alpine, TX on 8/25/2015

She will be laid to rest in the City Greenwood Cemetery in the Wakefield family plot on March 23, 2019.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on the afternoon of March 23, 2019 at 2:30 pm at the Weatherford Olive Garden, located at 315 IH-20 East Weatherford. All are welcome to attend.

Vada was born in Weatherford, TX to Wanell Wakefield and Thomas Shrum on August 2, 1945.

Survivors include her daughters, Christine Kisor, Frances Walker, LeaEllen Harris, Jamie Pacheco and her son, Leslie Harris. Bothers, Lonnie and John Shrum and sister Deborah Shrum Moore. 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 dogs.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Wanell Wakefield (Shrum, Vanhook, Powell) Birth Father, Thomas Shrum, Adoptive father Frank Vanhook, Brothers; Gregory T. Shrum-Van Hook and Tommy Shrum.

She had a fun loving spirit and took joy in spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved animals, nature, national parks, camping, and fishing. She considered strangers just friends she hadn't met yet.
