Treva Othell Adkins, 90, of Marble Falls, Texas, died Aug. 23, 2010, in a Marble Falls nursing facility. She was born in Silverton, Texas, on Dec. 13, 1919, the daughter of Abbs Meridth McMinn and Laura Belle Davis McMinn, and lived in the Mineral Wells area for many years.. She was married to Vernon H. Adkins on April 17, 1937, in Mineral Wells, and was preceded in death by him.. Survivors include a brother, Loy McMinn of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Glenda Howze of Marble Falls; a son, Butch Adkins of Luling; grandchildren, Monja Caughron of Marbles Falls, Page Adkins of Winnemucca, NV, LeAnn Jacobs of Las Vegas, NV., and Tippi Falor of Seguin; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.. Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home with burial following at Sturdivant Cemetery, Palo Pinto County.. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
