S.M. Adcock Obituary
S.M. Adcock, 84, of Weatherford died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at a Weatherford nursing center. Mr. Adcock was born March 16, 1923 in Thackerville, Okla.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford, retired from the Fort Worth Sanitation Department and an Air Force Veteran.
Mr. Adcock is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Adcock; brother, Walter Adcock; nephew, Richard Adcock; and sister, Gladys Robertson.
Survivors include wife, Helen of Weatherford; sons, John Mark Adcock of Denton, Eric Andrew Adcock and wife Dawn of Nocona; sister, Frances Liddell of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, in the First Baptist Church of Weatherford with burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
