Living in Mineral Wells, he pitched for the local baseball team, the Falcons. His performance was written in local newspapers as a star pitcher. He spent most of his professional years as a welder. On December 12, 2001, he ran and carried the Olympic torch through the streets of Arlington, Texas. Being one to never sit still, he spent much of his time running, drawing, reading, and listening to music with his family. He felt music soothed the soul. His faithful companion, Bart was always close to his side. Their bond could never be broken. He lived a simple life and was always recognized as a kind and quiet man. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 18th at 1PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
