Paul Edward Smith "Pop", 87, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday August 12, 2020.
Funeral Service: 12 pm Wednesday August 19, 2020 at Laurel Land Chapel of Chime. Visitation: 11 am- 12 pm hour prior to service at the Chapel of Chimes. Interment: 2 pm at DFW National Cemetery.
Paul was born on March 15, 1933 in Grayson, Kentucky to Lloyd Sturgill and Esther Leadingham. He served in the United States Army as a military police officer for 23 years. In his early years, Paul enjoyed fishing, but as time went on, he enjoyed quite time and eating dinner with his daughter and grandson.
Paul is survived by his daughter Paula Brown; grandson, Dayne Smith; nieces, Patricia Munio, and Donna Wilson; and nephews, Kenny Whitley, and James Paul Whitley.
