Funeral: Was held Friday at Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Tin Top Cemetery, Tin Top.
Opal was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Smithville, Texas to Joseph Calilie Ray and Jennie Mae Ray.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Gladys Wilson and husband, Wilburn, Albert Ray and wife, Mae, Florence Kelly and husband, Walter and Bertha Ballard and husband, Harold; and great-grandsons, Jack and Frank Katon.
Survivors: Husband, Reuben Turner Hager; children, Belinda Katon and husband, John, Shirley Landers and husband, Chris, Sheila Stanton, Rosa Jensen, Jaime Hager and wife, Melanie; 10 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
