Opal Fay Allingham, 88, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 in a local nursing facility.
Opal Fay was born Feb. 28, 1916 in Roaring Springs, Texas, to Burt and Myrtle William Duncan. She was a homemaker, a resident of Weatherford for 20 years and was one of 13 children.
Her husband, Crawford Allingham preceded her in death.
Survivors include sister, Bonnie Poe; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Bethel Cemetery. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
