Weatherford, Texas - Nick Bukis, 83, of Weatherford, TX, passed away surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 5, 1941, in Greenville, SC, Nick served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a master sergeant in 1983, and later spent 18 years teaching. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith, he was an active member of Northside Baptist Church, especially in youth ministry. His greatest joy was being "Papu" to his four grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Northside Baptist Church, Weatherford. Visitation 1-3 p.m., Celebration of Life at 3 p.m.
