Melba Nadine Thames Marr entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was born January 13, 1925, Cisco, Texas, the daughter of William Albert and Carrie Alice Thames. Melba married the love of her life, Louis Eugene Marr on January 9, 1943, in Breckenridge, Texas.

Melba loved the Lord and her family for over 95 years. Gene was the love of her life, and together they created a family of faith, fun, and complete devotion. Melba loved taking care of her family. She loved cooking family dinners and welcoming friends and family into her home and traveling.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, two sisters, and three sons, Ron Marr, Danny Marr and Randy Marr.

Melba is survived by her husband of 77 years, Gene of the home; son Mike Marr and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Dee Ann Mills and husband Tom; Jeff Marr and wife Alicia; David Marr and wife Debbie; Randy Marr and wife Monda; Carrie Ray and husband Rickey; great-grandchildren Kylie Mills, Kolbin Mills and wife Emily; Kysten Marr; Klay Marr; McKenzie (Moe) Marr; Bailey Marr; Ronnie Marr; Reece Marr; Stormy Finley; Misty Gill; Lauren Reid and husband Jake, Emily Marr, Chris Wegmann; and great great-grandchildren, Jalynne Gill, Madeline and Bennett Reid, Cale Wegmann and numerous other extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas.
