Marie Jean Haynes-Cosby, 88 years old, of Graford, Texas passed away September 4th, 2023. She was born on October 11th, 1934 in Tuscan, Arizona.
Marie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Sam Cosby; her son, Ed McIver, III; eight stepchildren, Vicki Davis, Holly Maddox, Darrell Cosby, Richard Cosby, Tracy Helton, Judy Cosby, Tony Cosby, and Earl Cosby; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Marie was the heart of her family and the glue to all sides. She loved to travel with her husband and spend time with her family. Marie adored her plants, animals, and playing cards with the grandkids. Her favorite color was fire red and said it reminded her of the sunset in Tuscan, Arizona.
Funeral Services will be held on September 9th, 2023 at 2pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas. Services will be officiated by Pastor Shane Long. Donations for flowers in Marie's name can be sent to Sam Cosby.
