Linda Lou Weeks Hutton passed from her life here on earth at her home in Perrin, Texas surrounded by her family on August 7, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on March 7, 1938, in Kermit, Texas, and raised by parents John Thomas and Johnnie Kate Weeks.
She graduated from Perrin High School in 1956.
She married Bobby Lang Hutton of Perrin, Texas on June 9, 1956, in Oran, Texas. Together they raised four children. Linda worked in Mineral Wells at the Sears store for many years. She was an excellent seamstress and made many custom western shirts for her boys as well as other people. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family many batches of peanut brittle, bread pudding, banana pudding, pies, and homemade ice cream for special occasions and holidays. Linda was also an accomplished League bowler and bowled for many years in Mineral Wells where she made lifelong friends. She bowled until she was almost 80 years old. She could out-bowl any of her family. She was an avid Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Mavericks fan, rarely missed watching them on TV, and didn't want to talk during the games. She was Nanny to all who loved her and she will be greatly missed.
Linda was a long-time member of the Perrin Church of Christ.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Siblings, Cecil Weeks, Opal Weeks Murray, Monnie Weeks Wilemon, T.J. Weeks Jr., and Jennie Weeks Snow as well as her husband of 58 years Bobby Hutton, and Great Grandson, Gabriel.
Linda is survived by her children, Pete Hutton and wife, Pam of Perrin; Katie Hutton Timmons of Louisiana; Mike Hutton and wife Judy, of Perrin; Joey Hutton of Perrin; like a son, Tony Seaton and wife, Danita or Perrin; Grandchildren, Teri Kebodeaux and husband, Wes of Midland; Chris Hutton and wife Tiffany of Yoakum; Cameron Hutton and wife, Erica of Yoacom; Linda Jo Timmons and son, Garrett of Perrin; Josh Hutton and wife Kara of Perrin; Reece Hutton of Perrin; Jeana Andretta, Colton Timmons of Perrin; Katy, Jaxon, Layla and Tucker; Michaela Connolly and husband Caden of Goldthwaite; Seaton Boys, Tanner, Cody and Keegan and wives, Courtney and Autumn and families. Great grandchildren, Asa and Annaliese Kebodeaux, London, Maphada, Nalique, Topher, and Waverly Hutton, Sophia, Elizabeth, Langley and Corbin Hutton, Tatum, Tucker and Tripp Hutton, and Madi Connolly. Many other extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 AM Monday August 12, 2024, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro, Texas. Burial followed at Perrin Memorial Gardens in Perrin, Texas.
