Kurt Alan Acuff

Kurt Alan Acuff was born June 29, 1964, in Ft. Worth to E.W. and DiAnn Acuff.. On March 1, 2014, his 20-year struggle with heart disease ended and he was welcomed into his Heavenly home greeted by his Mother, DiAnn (Kalaki) Acuff, who preceded him in death.. He was a longtime resident of Lone Camp and on Oct. 23, 1982, he married his high school sweetheart, Shanna Catlett. In 2012 they celebrated 30 years of marriage with a renewal of their vows.. Kurt was a Christian man who lived life to the fullest. He was a man with many talents. Any task he set his mind to, he would accomplish.. He was a member of the Santo Fire and EMS for over 25 years and truly loved helping those in need. He was a hard-working and loving Husband, Dad and Papaw.. Carrying on his memories are his father, E.W. (Dub) Acuff Jr. of Santo; his wife, Shanna Acuff of Lone Camp; his daughter, Marti Jones of Palo Pinto; and her husband, Greg, son, Kody Acuff of Palo Pinto; and his wife, Jenna; son, Klancey Acuff of Mineral Wells and his fiancé, Lindy Seigler; and son, Randy Baker of Mineral Wells and his fiancé, Amanda Enriquez.. Kurt was a loving Papaw to his five grandchildren Zoey, Ransom and Cole Jones of Palo Pinto, Kaden Acuff of Palo Pinto and Kenzlee Acuff of Mineral Wells. He also leaves many great friends and family members to cherish the times they had with him.. A special thank you to Trisha and Dr. Singh of Solaris Hospice for taking such good care of him.. A Celebration of Life honoring Kurt will be Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Lone Camp Community Center.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
