Kenneth Earl Adams Obituary

Kenneth Earl Adams, born in Los Angeles, Calif. on Feb. 3, 1942, met with his Lord and Savior in Weatherford on July 19, 2016.

Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday at South Side Baptist Church, 1115 South Brazos St., Weatherford, 76086. Interment: Willow Pond Cemetery in Palo Pinto County.

Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the USS Frank E. Evans Foundation.

Ken was a 32-year veteran of the U. S. Military, including enlistment in the Navy, Air Force Reserve, and for the Department of Defense with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. He also served his church community faithfully.

Always a warrior, Ken courageously battled cancer for a year and a half. During this time, he provided a great example of determination and used his illness as an opportunity to share his testimony with others.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Adams; sister, Cynthia Adams; and wife, Judy Adams.

He is survived by his mother, Venus Adams; sisters, Trish Adams and Pam Whitehead; three daughters, Debbie Whitley, Tracy Woodruff and Nikki Weiss; his sons, Martin Gray and Ron Gray. Also among his survivors are 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; plus many extended family members.
