José "Pancho" Zamarron Sr., 66, of Weatherford died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in a Fort Worth hospital. Pancho was born Jan. 29, 1941, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was a longtime rancher employed by Lonestar Park and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen Zamarron of Weatherford; daughter, Sylvia Steffler and husband, Lance, of Weatherford; sons, Ricky Zamarron and wife, Patti, of Weatherford, Richard Zamarron and wife, Rhonda, of Weatherford, Frank Zamarron Jr. and wife, Anne, of Weatherford; sisters, Sis Marquerite Zamarron of Arlington, Lupe Zamarron of Mexico, Lucia Amaya of Tyler; brother, Luis Zamarron of Mexico; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Cody, Camryn, Raeven, Chase, Mason and Phillip Zamarron, Samantha and Sydney Steffler.

Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Stephens Catholic Church with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
