Jimmy Dwaine Harrison, 66, of Cool, Texas, passed away on July 3rd surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Jimmy adored his family, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed watching movies of all kinds, but especially westerns and sci-fi films. He also loved playing cards, dominoes, bowling, and shooting pool.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Dwaine Harrison and Betty Sue Rhodes, his wife Sherrill Ann Washburn, and his son Jimmy Harrison, Jr. He is survived by wife Nelda Bea Havins, daughters Betty Jo Wright and fiancé Rob Glenn, Alicia Harrison and wife Melinda Harrison, and Amanda Harrison, brother Jerry Harrison, sisters Danita Bradley and Sandy and husband Carlton Wiley, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday, July 9th from 6-8 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Baumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. The funeral service will be Monday July 11th at 10:00 a.m. at BCB followed by a private burial at Barton Chapel Cemetery.
