Jerry Curtis Miller Obituary

Weatherford, TX - Jerry was born on Christmas Day, 1948 in Dublin, TX to Fred & Leona Miller. He spent his formative years in Gustine, Tx. He married the love of his life Linda Lou Griffin on June 22nd, 1968, and began working in sales until moving to Brownwood, managing at JRB's Grocery for over a decade.

During their time in Brownwood, Jerry and Linda were Blessed with two children, Bryan, and Laura.

His true calling for ministry-built momentum in 1982 after moving to Weatherford, TX and founding Bible Baptist Church. Beginning with a small chapel and two families, Bible Baptist would outgrow itself by 1985 and later merge to become what is known as by all of Weatherford as South Side Baptist Church.

In the coming decade, what started as a congregation of nine, soon became a place of fellowship that would reach families all over parker county and the world through his missions.

Jerry Curtis Miller is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda and his brother, Clayton, his two children Dion and Dillon, Laura and Bryan, his grandchildren Hilary, Micah, Bryan, Levi, and Sawyer.
