Gene Addison, 82, of Weatherford, died Friday afternoon, May 27, 2011 in a local nursing facility.. Born July 27, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was a resident of Weatherford and formerly lived in Plano and Red River, N.M. He owned a wireline service, a car dealership and in later years sold real estate. He was a member of the Methodist church, the NRA and he loved snowmobiling and four wheeling.. Mr. Addison was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Willenborg Addison, and a son, William Dexter Addison II.. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Hott and husband Butch of Weatherford, and Terri Addison of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Scott Addison of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter-in-law, Susie Addison, of Plano, Texas; sister, Suzanne McDougle of Murchison, Texas; six grandchildren, Beje Hott Linden, Tim Addison, Alicia Addison, Amanda Addison, Chelsea Kennedy and Christopher Addison; and three great grandchildren..
