Ellie Jackson "E.J." Robison, 83, of Brock, passed away Sunday evening, March 27, 2011, in the Weatherford hospital.. He was born April 23, 1927, in Millsap, and was a life long resident of Parker County. He was an enjoyable man who was loved, respected and appreciated by all. E.J. was an agriculturalist, an avid fisherman and a member of Brock Baptist Church. He was the very best dad his children could ask for that loved his family dearly; especially his sweet wife who he grieved his last breath for.. E.J. was preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife, Betty, in 2005;, his parents, and siblings, Dora Mae Anderson, Edna Aparicio, Mary Gluck, Marvin Lee, Melvin, Homer and Albert Robison.. Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Grimes and husband, Joe Don, of Crowley; sons, Robert Robison and wife, Nora, of Aledo, Jimmy Robison and wife, Vickie, of Newberry and Douglas Robison and wife, Sara, of Brock; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in the Brock Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Brock cemetery.. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
