Dorothy Quarles Addison, 94, died Thursday, March 11, 2010.. Dorothy was born Jan. 17, 1916, in Elkhart to Roger and Hazel Byrd Quarles. She enjoyed her many years of employment with Buddies Supermarkets and Kimball, Inc. retiring in 1979, upon the arrival of her only grandchild, Drew Larkin. She and her husband, L.D., retired to their home at Possum Kingdom Lake. She had resided in Weatherford for the last 16 years and had many close friends there.. Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Francis Episcopal Church and active member of the Wednesday Bible Study group. She was a trusted friend, confidante and guiding light to many friends and family throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lester D. Addison.. Survivors include her daughter, Paula Larkin and her husband, Larry; grandson, Drew Larkin and his wife, Diane; sisters, Lucille Nelms and Ann Saunders.. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 117 Ranch House Road, Willow Park..
