Deborah M. Cargill Obituary

Deborah M. Cargill, 59, passed away on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at a local hospital in Fort Worth after suffering a ruptured aneurysm.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Chapel

Deborah was born in Killeen. Growing up in Weatherford, she enjoyed barrel racing in her teens, worked as a nurse, then had a successful career in fashion modeling. She suffered a prior ruptured aneurysm in 1986 which paralyzed the right side of her body.

Debbie was a doting mother and daughter and loved, more than anything, being with friends and family. She was well known for her beautiful smile, sense of humor, and positive attitude. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by mother, Jo Ann Gilbert.

Survivors: She leaves behind her father, Joe Gilbert Sr.; her sons, Shae Cargill and Marshall Cargill; sister, Joy Smith; brother, Joe Gilbert Jr.; her four grandchildren; and many friends and family members.
