Dearla Ann Jones Phillips
Dearla Ann Jones Phillips, 46, of Weatherford entered into rest on Monday, February 10th after an extended illness.
She was born in Mineral Wells, TX on April 26, 1973 to Deryl and Judy Jones, but raised by Joe and Bernice Clayton who she knew as her parents.
Dearla had spent most of her life as a CNA, until her illness would no longer allow her to do what she loved, taking care of the elderly. She was a loving wife and good mother and will be deeply missed.
Dearla is survived by her husband, Tim Phillips of Weatherford, two sons, Dakota Phillips of Mineral Wells, Devin Phillips of Weatherford, sisters Linda Thomas of Brock, Kimberly Swenskie of Dayton, Ohio and Cheri Hurda of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, two nieces, Faith Plumlee of Brock, Hannah Neff, two nephews, Noah and Micah Neff, all of Weatherford, and one grandchild, Remmie Knutson of Mineral Wells. She is preceded in death by parents Joe and Bernice Clayton.
A memorial service will be held at The Gathering Church in Brock Saturday, February 15 at 2 p.m.

To all the family of sweet Dearla. I would like to say how much I respected the person who Dearla was. I don’t think I ever knew anyone who had such a hard life physically but still was always so willing to help others in any way she could. I haven’t kept in touch with any of you like I wish I could have, life has been very full and always busy...but I would just like to say I will miss her very much. I have much love in my heart for you all and will keep you in my prayers. I am very sorry for your loss. The world has one less angel in it with her passing.
