With deep sorrow and profound love, we honor the life of David Keith Ballard, who passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2026.

David leaves behind his devoted wife and the love of his life, Christeen Ballard, with whom he shared a bond rooted in joy, partnership, and the simple beauty of everyday moments.

David had a spirit drawn to the open air and the quiet strength of nature. He loved riding horses, finding peace and freedom in the saddle. Some of his happiest days were spent dancing with Christeen, moving together with an ease and connection that reflected the life they built side by side. At home, he often joined her in refurbishing furniture, turning worn pieces into something renewed, much like the warmth and care he brought into every corner of their life together.

He was also a talented craftsman who enjoyed making spurs and knives from deer bones, creating pieces that reflected both skill and patience.

Above all, David cherished time with his wife. Whether they were working on a project, sharing a quiet evening, or simply enjoying each other's company, he found joy in the moments that mattered most. His gentle presence, steady love, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David was born in Irving, Texas, to Bryce and Mariletha Ballard. The youngest of three children, he was often lovingly referred to as the favorite.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Christeen Ballard; his sister, Sherry Woods; and his children, Skyler Ballard, Bailie Martinez, and Alyssa Gober.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Bryce and Mariletha Ballard, and his brother, Randy Ballard and son John Radford.

His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the life he shared so fully with Christeen.
