Weatherford, Texas - Charlotte Price, 80, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 28, 2026, joining many family members and friends who have gone on before her. She was born on August 18, 1945, to Ralph and Agnes Carter in Athens, Texas. She was the second child in a family of 5 children, giving her 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
She married L.C. Price in May 1964 in Malakoff, Texas, and they celebrated 57 years together before his death in 2022. She was the loving mother of Todd Price and his wife, Chris, and Lacey Price Roberts and her husband, Chris. She was also the beloved Mimi to Justina Roberts St. Clair and her husband, Sam, Carter Price, Hayden Price, Ian Roberts, Avery Roberts and Orry L.C. Roberts.
Charlotte grew up in Malakoff and lived most of her adult life in Weatherford as a homemaker. She was very creative and loved decorating and a variety of crafts over the years. Her house was always filled with books, movies and activities for her grandchildren on each visit. She valued time with her family and friends and was a devout prayer warrior for each of them. She enjoyed hosting Extension Homemakers meetings, Home Interiors, Tupperware, Stanley, Crystal, and church parties at her home. She helped support her husband and his businesses for over 40+ years.
She loved to travel and her favorite places to visit were the mountains and the coastline. Over the years, she also enjoyed, reading her bible, cooking, camping, antiquing and collecting. Her favorite book was the Bible and her favorite bible verse was John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. Today she is living her everlasting life with her savior, her husband, her parents, her sister, Mary Lee Matthews, her brother, Bo Carter, her in-laws, and many other family members.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Gearld Carter and sister Sandy Dalrymple. Her sister-in-law Margie Price Schumann, brothers-in-law, Charlie Price A.B. Price and Ray Price and his wife, Glenda, many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church, 350 Beulah Rd, Millsap, TX 76066.
