Weatherford, Texas - Charles (Chuck) Edward Pridgeon, Sr. died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas.

Chuck's legacy is carried on by his spouse of 59 years, Mary Elizabeth (Tobin) Pridgeon, his three children: Lisa Michelle (Pridgeon) Moran and her husband, Michael Lewis Moran of Willow Park, Texas; Laura Elizabeth (Pridgeon) Moore and her husband Richard Alonzo Moore IV of Dayton, Texas; and Charles (Chad) Edward Pridgeon, Jr. and his wife Dr. Meredith (Hawkins) Pridgeon of Aledo, Texas. He was a fiercely proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Joshua Rhys Moran, Alexander James Scott Moore, Austin Tyler Moore, Savannah Alisabeth Moore, and Cooper Austin Pridgeon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chuck's name to The Disabled American Veterans (DAV.org) or The Fisher House Foundation (fisherhouse.org).

Chuck Pridgeon was a steady presence in the lives of all who knew him, and his guidance, humor and unwavering love will be profoundly missed.
