Born on January 4, 1962, in Paris, France, Charlie's life was defined by the warmth of his relationships, the depth of his love for family, and the enduring strength of his spirit.

Charlie is survived by a devoted and extensive family who meant the world to him. He was a beloved father to Charles Lee Burleson, Jr., Britney Burleson, and Brandi Gee. Through marriage, his family grew to include his dear daughter-in-law Vickie, and sons-in-law Jeremy and Jason, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

As a grandfather, Charlie found immense joy in being present for both ordinary days and extraordinary milestones in the lives of his grandchildren: Dezmond Durand, Chase Brock, Lyric Davis, Nova Lankford, Liberty Mullanax, Cypress Lankford, Evie Durand, Sebastien Rhine, and Aspyn West. Each grandchild brought joy, laughter, and a sense of pride that Charlie carried with him always. He was also blessed to have a great-grandchild, Everleigh Brock.
