FORT WORTH - Carrell Leon "C.L." Hatcher, 74, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, in Fort Worth.


Carrell Leon "C.L." Hatcher was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Throckmorton, one of 11 children to Mary Belle and Oscar Hatcher, a railroad section foreman.


Carrell "C.L." worked for Union Pacific Freight lines as a Teamster truck driver until retirement. He was a Mason who had a love and passion for religious music. All he knew was hard work and family. He really enjoyed friends and his working buddies.


Survivors include his loving and caring wife of 55 years, Sarah Jo; children, Doug Hatcher and wife, Jill, Debra Robinson and husband, Gary, Dwain Hatcher and wife, Judy, and David Hatcher and wife, Terrie; special love for his grandchildren, Toyah, Kendy, Shane, Chad, Jason, Bair, Colt and April; and great-grandchildren, Lacey and Kyle.


Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Park. There is no visitation.
