WEATHERFORD - Buck Allen, 67, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015.. Funeral service: 1 p.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.. Interment: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas.. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home.. Buck was born Jan. 15, 1948 in Clifton, Texas, son of James Milford and Roselee Berry Allen. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Buck was a published poet and songwriter. He was of the United Pentecostal Faith.. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and brother, Timothy Allen.. Survivors: wife, Shari Allen; daughters, Dena Benfer and husband, Doug, and Angie Morgan and husband, Jason; son, Brandon Allen; seven grandchildren; brother, John Allen; sisters, Joanna Gray and husband, Charles, Rebecca Small, Lorece Pendleton and Mary Baker and husband, Charles; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends..
