Weatherford - Brenda Sue Baldwin, age 72, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Brenda was born on April 18, 1953, in Weatherford, Texas, to Travis and Marie (Blackerby) Strickland. She built a career as a medical transcriptionist and was deeply involved in her church community. Over the years, she served faithfully at Greenwood Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching in the Girls' Auxiliary, and later served at Harvey Baptist Church.

Brenda cherished time with her family and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, whose lives she deeply touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ricky Strickland.

Left to carry on her legacy is her devoted husband of 48 years, Lonnie Baldwin of Stephenville, Texas; her four sons, Cary Baldwin and wife, Dawn, Cody Baldwin and wife, Kathy, Matthew Baldwin, and Nathan Baldwin; her seven beloved grandchildren, Logan Baldwin and wife, Alissa, Grant Baldwin, Tyler Love, Levi Baldwin, Zac Baldwin, Toby Peace, and Tegan Baldwin; and two precious great-grandchildren, Brooks Baldwin and Hattie Baldwin. She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie Mangrum and husband, Tim and Donna Strickland, and husband, Dave.

A time of visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral ceremony at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Harvey Baptist Church, 1375 Cage Street, Stephenville, Texas 76401. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
