GRANBURY - Brenda Sue Alvarez, 50, of Granbury, passed away Dec. 25, 2013 in Ft. Worth. Service: 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury. Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow services. Brenda was born March 18, 1963 in Shreveport, La., to Billy and Janet Sullivan Pilgram. She worked as a wedding and social events planner for Rough Creek Lodge. She married Frank Alvarez on April 26, 2003, in Granbury. She loved to garden, and cook for big family dinners. She could sit by the ocean for hours. She loved her kids and family. Survived: Husband; Frank Alvarez of Granbury. Daughter; Miranda Woodall and husband Austin of N. Richland Hills and their son Colt. Son; Adam Weaver of Round Rock.. Step Daughters; Elizabeth Brooks and husband Wesley of Hutto, Alyssa Alvarez and fiance' Will Garick of Granbury.. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
