TOLAR — Bobby Coggins, 59, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, in Fort Worth.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Tolar.

Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to a charity of your choice in memory of Bobby.

Bobby was born in Weatherford to Lowell and Josie Coggins on Sept. 20, 1956. He graduated from Weatherford High School and Texas A&M class of 1980, where he achieved many awards as a competition pistol expert. Bobby married the love of his life, Karla Kinson, on Aug. 31, 1985, in Tolar. He worked as a Customer Service Technician for AT&T for 31 plus years before recently retiring. He was a Chief Union Steward for Communications Workers of America Local 6201 in Fort Worth. Bobby was involved in the National Rifle Association and the Hood County Livestock Raisers Association. He was an avid professional gunsmith, recently opening his own business as Coggins Gunsmithing.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Coggins; and in-laws, D.J. and Joe Kinson.

Survivors: wife, Karla; son, James; mother, Josie Coggins; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Tim Goolsby and their families.
