Fort Worth — Mary Lou McDonald, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Curtis Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood.
Mary Lou was born April 19, 1926, in Petrolia, Texas. Mary Lou surrendered her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 11 and has been walking faithfully with Him ever since. She would want you to know that she is now home with her Lord. She taught Sunday school for many years and she and her husband served as volunteers in Mexico with the Southern Baptist Mission Service Corp. She was a member of Northeast Baptist Church in Southlake.
She retired from Texas Workforce Commission. As a resident of Legend Assisted Living, she was an avid domino player and enjoyed working puzzles and visiting with her many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors: Daughters, Pat Carlson and husband, John; Sandy Foute and husband, Garret; JoAn Muncie and husband, Pat, and Mary Alice Hoover and husband, Mark; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Ann Searcy and Barbara Ruth Benfer.
