Jackson Kevin Walsh was born Jan. 26, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved with his family to Texas in August of that year and to Weatherford in November 1998. He attended Trinity Christian School for a time and graduated from Weatherford High School in 2009. He attended Weatherford Junior College for two years, and finished his education at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Psychology and Environmental Science. Post graduation, Jackson was employed by the Texas Youth Advocacy Program. Jackson was a gifted drummer, and a skilled rock climber, snowboarder and bicyclist. He loved the outdoors and camping, but his favorite pastime was "chilling with his friends," of which there were many, and attending music festivals, some of which he worked. A talented actor, Jackson had important parts in numerous plays in Weatherford's Theatre Off The Square, plus the leading part as Mortimer in "Arsenic and Old Lace" as a freshman in high school.
Jackson will be sorely missed by his family, friends and pets.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Chris Walsh, of Weatherford; grandmother, Agnes Glass, of Silver Springs, MD; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Virginia, Maryland and Connecticut.
