Services honoring the life of Doris Janzen have been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
Doris Madonna Janzen was born on Monday, June 17, 1935, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ernest and Fern (Kline) Wells. Doris passed away on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with her loving family by her side. She was 81 years of age.
Doris graduated from Woodward High School with the Class of 1953. She attended Draughon School of Business and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Doris married Fred Janzen on April 18, 1957 at First Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful homemaker while also working as a Secretary for 3M Manufacturing until her retirement.
Doris loved the Lord and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors: walking, gardening, water skiing and snow skiing. More than anything, Doris cherished time spent with her family.

Doris is survived by: husband, Fred Janzen, (Broken Arrow); children, Vanessa and husband, Tim Hutto, (Owasso, OK), Max and wife, Lynne Janzen, (Casper, WY), Gaylene and husband, Marshall Buzan, (Bartlesville, OK); grandchildren, Scott and Jeff Hutto, Jarret and Cole Janzen, Natalie and Nathan Buzan; brother, Marvin D. Wells, (Mariposa, CA); numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Fern Wells.
