Billy Gene Sullivan, 74, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 26, 2017, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Boyd, Texas.
Billy was born Aug. 6, 1942, to Carlus and Evelyn Sullivan at home in Crowley, Texas. He was the last of four children. Billy grew up in Burleson, Texas and graduated from Burleson High School in 1960. After high school, he went to work for Texas Steel and later General Dynamics which changed to Lockheed-Martin where he worked as a machinist for 45 years. He was a member of the IAM Union and at one time served as president of the local 776B Union in Fort Worth, Texas.
Billy is survived by his wife, Janice, of Weatherford; his daughter, Samantha, of Plano; sister, Claudia Bradford and family, of Everman; cousins, Jack Peel and wife, Guylyn, and family of Midlothian, Nick Harissis and wife, Janice, and family of Lewisville, and Connie Olson and husband, Andy, and family of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and by his beloved dogs, Lola and Lexi.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents.
