From the poem "High Flight":
"Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
...with silent, lifting mind I've trod
the high untrespassed sanctity of space,
put out my hand and touched the face of God."

We are saddened to hear of the passing of such a wonderful man and our friend Tom Steele.

We had the pleasure of knowing Tom & Edwina Steele back in the 1980s in Arlington Texas
The friendship was not like others... we were instantly considered “part of the family”

Tom was a man with a generous heart and always took time between his off days to visit.. lend a hand ... and share stories ...
He was never a man of few words...
but as much as he told of his past adventures he would always have an ear to hear our own ...

Tom put family above all else in his life and gave his time and resources to so many...
In our mind his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of his wonderful ch
...ildren and grandchildren who were given opportunities to travel the world and meet new cultures and spread the love ... all from the teachings of Tom and Edwina...

Go in Peace dear friend... We are sure that heaven will never be boring ... with all of life’s anecdotes that you will share...

May your soul be in Eternal Peace
In God’s hands...

Amen

Respectfully
Judy & Musa Abu -Hijleh
