Robert "Bob"'s Story
Robert "Bob" Potts, 80, passed away at home Wednesday evening, Aug. 30.
Bob was a retired Navy veteran, retired postal worker, and owned his business Custom Gates and Welding for the last 17 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Cooper-Potts; daughters, Jackie Daughtry, of Bradenton FL, Teresa Madison, of Vernon, AL, Olga "Cricket" Colter and husband, John, and a son, Thomas Potts, both of Billings, MT; three stepchildren, Russell Cooper, Dudley Cooper and Shirley York, all of Texas; lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He loved everyone. Bob was originally from Huntsville, AL, where he met his wife and married her 45 years later ... first love.
