WEATHERFORD ? Norman Kennedy, 90, passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016.?
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel Live Oak Room. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum.
Norman was a retired executive for Texas Refinery. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Weatherford, which he attended faithfully. His love for Jesus Christ and the Bible were deeply ingrained in his life. He was a veteran, serving his country in the Navy for four years. He was an avid golfer and loved his Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.?
Norman loved all the attention his nieces and nephews gave him. He always looked forward to family time, with all the entertainment they provided him. He shared a special bond and friendship of 43 years with his niece-in-law, Terri. His humor and charm will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.?
The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at Weatherford Health Care and Kindred Hospice for the loving care they provided to him.?
Norman was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth; brother, Bill Kennedy and wife, Jerry; and his parents, Levi and Ina Mae Kennedy.?
Survivors: Nephew, Bill Kennedy Jr. and wife, Terri; great-nephews, Cory Kennedy and wife, Amy, Kyle Kennedy; great-niece, Kadie Mae Kinney and husband, Jarred, and by who he thought were the funniest little great-great-niece and -nephews, Hayden, Hartlie, Kyler, Layton and Briggs; longtime friends, Les Mungle and Richard Yaws; daughter, Karen Kennedy; grandsons, Sean and Ryan Werstein.
