Julia Zephyrine Boukalis, 95, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 21, 2017. She was born the oldest of five girls on Aug. 26, 1921, in Worcester, Massachusetts to Julius and Kathryn Prusko. She was a secretary for the Civil Service for many years, serving in Army payroll and the Pilots Union in the Canal Zone, Panama. Julia was a devout member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Peter Boukalis.
Survivors include children, Cynthia Humphreys, Robert Boukalis, and Kenneth Boukalis; grandchildren, Daniel Humphreys, Jeff Humphreys and Jon Paul Humphreys; great-grandchildren, Chance, Keelyn, and Marissa Humphreys; sister, Irene Kaminski; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and a Rosary will be 6-8 Monday evening at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at St. Stephens Catholic Church.
