Jim Bob's Story
Jim Bob Cook, 56, lifelong Parker County resident, gained his heavenly wings Feb. 8, 2017.
He attended WISD, and was a rodeo cowboy for many years. He loved the outdoors and hunting, cutting wood, fishing and baseball. He was an auto body technician for most of his life.
He is preceded in death by parents: James and Sharon Cook.
He is survived by: son, Branden Cook and wife Lindsay; granddaughter, Emery and grandson Parker Cook; daughter, Tabitha Boardman and husband Jared, and granddaughter Breckyn; his former wife and lifelong friend, Jayne Cook; sister, Pam Hudson; brothers, Galen and Darlene Cook, Mike and Michelle Cook; four nephews and a niece; and many other relatives and friends.
He loved life, family and particularly his grandchildren.
Visitation is 7 p.m. Friday, at New River Fellowship, and service is 10 a.m. Saturday, also at New River Fellowship in Hudson Oaks.
