Donald Sargent "Hutch" Hutchinson, 78, arrived safely home in the arms of Jesus, April 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial service: 2 p.m., Monday at First Baptist Church, Dennis.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner Children's Hospital.
Donald was born July 8, 1938 in Milo, Maine to Malcolm and Gertrude Hutchinson. He started working in the logging industry with his dad in Maine. After graduating from Foxcroft Academy in 1956, he joined the United States Army and served in Korea from 1956-1958. Donald worked as a construction project manager in paper mills throughout the United States, and retired in 2000 to his ranch in Dennis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #52 in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine and the Moslah Shrine of Fort Worth. Donald was a past president of the Moslah Mounties Horse Patrol Unit. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Dennis. Donald was a devoted family man and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Zachary Hutchinson; brother, Fredrick Hutchinson; and wife, Diana Hutchinson.
Survivors: wife, Linda Hutchinson; children, Michael Hutchinson, and wife, Karla, Penny Hutchinson and husband, Rick, Brett Hutchinson and wife, Kelly, Laurie Mayberry, John Elders and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Kerri-Jo Ramos, J.D. Harmon, Zane Harmon, Danielle Koncinsky, Emily Hutchinson, Chase Hutchinson, Chris Hutchinson, Kilee Hutchinson, Brad Hutchinson, Gabe Hutchinson, Clarisse Hutchinson, Savannah Mayberry, Sarah Elders; and 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dionne Hutchinson; the mother of his children, Patricia "Teeter" Blanchard; and many extended family members.
