Denver Bradley Riffe, 81, of Weatherford, passed away early on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in Fort Worth.
Denver was born Sept. 3, 1935, in Charleston, West Virginia to Clifton and Grace Riffe. He married La Juana Lothridge on Jan. 6, 1956, and together they had four children and one unborn child. Denver enjoyed music, working on vehicles, fixing and programming computers. He also followed woodwork, building cabinets and houses and loved the outdoors. Denver worked in police work and detective work before marriage. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family.
Denver leaves behind his wife of 61 years, La Juana; his sons, Karl Wesley and Debra Riffe, Robert Lee and Charlena Riffe, Billy Lawrence and Michelle Riffe; daughter, Rebekah Ann and Kenny Baker; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and by Denver's siblings, Glenn Riffe, Vernon Riffe, and Naomi Fiacable.
In addition to his parents, Denver was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Karrie Riffe and by his brothers, Keith and Woodrow Riffe.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, May 26, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Graveside service will follow in Central Cemetery north of Weatherford.
