Three days after her 88th birthday celebration, our adorable mother, grandmother, wife, friend of many, Connie Euchner, of Weatherford, passed away. Connie is now resting with our Lord and her family and friends who preceded her into the kingdom of heaven.
Connie was born on June 11, 1929, in Oelwein, Iowa, daughter of William Henry and Grace Eveland Bush. Connie was a long time resident of Cedar Falls, IA, Casa Grande, AZ and most recently of Weatherford.
Connie married Charles (Chuck) Raymond Euchner on Aug. 15, 1959, in Marshalltown, IA. Angels came to get Chuck on Nov. 19, 2014.
Connie was loved by and loved many. She was a talented seamstress, sewing clothes, toys, bedding, quilts for her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, church family, friends and neighbors; whom all benefited from her kind, generous, giving heart with all of her loving, homemade gifts. Connie enjoyed sewing quilts with her many church friends that she called her "God Quilts," which Connie and Chuck proudly donated hundreds to the church outreach. Chuck and Connie enjoyed travels for reunions with their Marine friends from the Korean War.
Survived by: two daughters, PJ Fecht (Ron), of Weatherford, and Martha Alden, of Cedar Rapids, IA; son, Rickie Jay (Delores-Dee) Euchner, of Waterloo, IA; sisters, Jeanette Shore and Laura Schulette, of Jacksonville, FL. Connie left wonderful memories to all who loved her. She has 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles R Euchner on Nov. 19, 2014; twin daughter, Patricia J Kopf on Oct. 24, 2014; and son, Michael G Euchner on Jan. 19, 1969; son-in-law, David Alden; brothers, Robert and DeForrest Bush; sisters, Mary King, Betty Gerard and Bessie Albertson.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel located at 913 North Elm Street - Weatherford, TX 76086.
Private graveside service will be in Casa Grande, AZ, where Connie will be buried with her husband.
