Charlie was a very special person in many ways. He was kind beyond measure, a very hard worker, loved to hunt, loved to work in his shop and restore vehicles and then sell them. He would go an gather pecans and then trained a little squirrel to come take it out of his pocket. I say he had patience for everything but sitting idle, he would not come visit me unless I made him a honey do list first, lol and when the list was completed he was ready to go back home. I will always think of him with love and utmost respect for the care he gave mother when she was ill. Rest in peace. Love, Elaine

Charley was the most genuine person I have ever known. He would offer friendship, wisdom, advice, to anyone, with an honesty that cannot be denied. He never met a stranger, always had a smile. I am honered to have known him, and he will surely be missed.
