Audrey was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was the last of 11 children born to Arthur and Audrey Gilfillan. Audrey met her husband, William "Sarge" Beddow, at age 17, in Fort Worth. She enjoyed watching old classic movies, was a WWII historian, and was a devout Texas Rangers Baseball fan. She served as Ladies Auxillary president of the Amvets, in Rantoul, Illinois. Most of all, Audrey will affectionately be remembered for being the 'matriarch' of her family and for raising her seven children in addition to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
