WEATHERFORD -- Adam Lee Troy, 33, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Greenwood. Adam will be cremated following his service.
Adam was born Jan. 31, 1983, grew up in Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School. He worked for his father Martin's company, Lamar A/C Inc, for 15 years. He was close to his father and had asked him to be his best man, which Martin accepted with great honor. Adam enjoyed sports, attending baseball games, grilling out, and spending time with his loving and devoted wife, Donna Ulrickson Troy.
Everyone knew him as a hardworking, kind, thoughtful man with a gentle spirit. He was always smiling, always willing to help, and loved by everyone who knew him. Adam would always light up when Donna entered the room, as she was the one true love of his life.
Survivors: Loving wife, Donna Ulrickson Troy; parents, Martin and Martha Troy of Fort Worth, and Nancy and Stephen Morris of Fort Worth; grandmother, Thelma Troy of Weatherford; siblings, Jaime and Scott Wells of Dallas, Allison, Ben, and Stella Parkey of Dallas, Ryan and Lacey Morris of Austin, Tracey Buys of Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
